Norman Roger McComas, 81, passed away on December 18, 2015 in Bullhead City, Arizona. He was born to Earl and Edith McComas on December 2, 1934 in Seaman, Ohio. He was wed to Ruth Ann McClelland on May 27, 1955 in Maywood, California; they were married for 60 years. Roger served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was a barber and enjoyed golf, politics and socializing daily with a group of friends. He was a member of Bell Gardens Jaycees, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4299 of (LHC), Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2269 (LHC), First Baptist Church (LHC), and served on the Bell Gardens City Council for 22 years which included nine, one-year terms as Mayor. Roger is survived by his wife, Ruth A. McComas of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughters, Catheryn M. McComas of Bullhead City, AZ, Caryn A. Cerda of Whittier, CA, Melinda S. Taylor of Fullerton, CA, Katrina Roberts of Las Vegas, NV, Nadia Tina of Portland, OR; brother, Phillip L. McComas of Lake Havasu City, AZ; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Edith (Gorman) McComas; brothers, Wade McComas and Dallas McComas. Memorial service will be held at a later time.
