Obituary of George FREDERICKS

George Jones Fredericks Sr., 90 passed away May 30, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Thomas and Beulah (Bennets) Fredericks on April 16, 1914 in Pottsville, PA.George moved to Lake Havasu 26 years ago from Reading, PA where he resided for 60 years. He worked as a miner for Bethlehem Steel in Morgantown, PA for 20 years. He was a Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher and an usher for the Lake Havasu Baptist. George was also an avid reader and enjoyed watching sports.George will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Violet; son, George Jones Fredericks Jr. of Northampton, PA; four grandchildren, Scott Fredericks, Keith Fredericks, Nanette Dennis, Elisa Hause and nine great grandchildren.His parents and brother, Charles Milton Fredericks preceded him in death.A public viewing will be held Thursday, June 3, 10:30 AM with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM at Lake Havasu Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens after the services.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
