Robert G. Hellyer, 74 passed away on June 5, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on December 26, 1929 in Dilo, Montana.Bob moved from Big Fork, MT; 20 years ago to Yuma, AZ; and then moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 5 years ago He worked as a salesman for Frito Lay in Elko, NV; for 5 years. Bob served in the U.S. Navy, Korea from 1952 to 1956. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and Elmore Lodge #30, Free & Accepted Mason's in Mt. Home, ID.He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Shirley of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons Danny Hellyer of Boise, ID; Kevin Hellyer of Mt. Home, ID; daughters Michelle Hellyer of Colorado, Melissa Hellyer of Boise, ID; step-sons John Perry Jr; Ronald Perry and Roger Perry all of New Jersey, step-daughters Lorraine Palfy and Karen Fowler both of New Jersey, Barbara Applegate and June Cutts both of Florida, brothers Charles Hellyer of Lander, WY; Johnny Hellyer of Ferndale, MT; half brothers David Hellyer of ID; Floyd Hellyer of Germany; sisters Ellen Hellman of Pearl, MS; Shirley Hains and Alta Baugh both of Jordan, MT; 3 grandchildren, 19 step-grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 14 step- great grandchildren.Scripture services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 10:00 AM with Deacon Jeff Arner officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #9401 and American Legion Post #81. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Bob's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
