Obituary of Jackie CAHOON

Jackie Cahoon, 80, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2004, with her husband Doy by her side. Jackie was born April 22, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minn.Her family later moved to the Los Angeles area where she graduated from George Washington High School. Jackie's family said that she met the love of her life, Doy Cahoon, an impressive young fireman and their love affair continued for 51 years. Jackie and Doy spent many years vacationing in Lake Havasu City, boating, fishing and water skiing with family and friends. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1983 and became full-time residents.Her husband was constantly by her side throughout her illness and said that he is forever grateful for the wonderful support, guidance and care given by Hospice and other close neighbors and friends at Beachcomber Resort.She is survived by her loving husband, Doy Cahoon, sons Brad Cahoon of Eldorado, CA; Richard Ginelli of Hawaii, daughter Sandy Robertson of Whittier, CA; and their families. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
