Types Of Cremations 

These are the four types of cremation. We will look at what is involved in them and how they are different from each other:

• Cremation With A Traditional Service - This type of cremation is costlier than the others because it involves standard cremation and funeral services such as embalming and casket rental. Families conduct the funeral service, after which the cremation is done.
   
• Cremation With A Memorial Service - With this type of service, the person’s remains are not at the venue. It is held after the cremation to honor the decedent’s memory, but without a casket and a body.
   
• Cremation Without A Ceremony (Direct Cremation) - In direct cremation, the body is not embalmed, and there is no viewing or visitation. The cremation is done right after the person passes, making it one of the most cost-effective options.
   
• Cremation With The Body Being Donated To Science - Certain people prefer to donate their bodies to science, and some organizations handle this. The organization would also include a cremation at no cost as part of its program. Since the tissues and organs are used for various experiments and tests, the body cannot be buried, and cremation is the only option.
